The Gourock Triathlon took place on Sunday 18th August, featuring a half-mile swim, a 10-mile cycle, and a 5km run. Notably, members of Inverclyde Masters participated with impressive results. Paul McCrorey finished the triathlon with a time of 59 minutes and 55 seconds. Ricky Long completed it in 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 31 seconds, while Lucy Findlay completed it in 1 hour, 29 minutes and 54 seconds.
In the team event, the trio of Eve, Kirstin, and Fiona, competing under the team name “Ladies who Tri,” excelled by securing 1st place among female teams and placing 3rd overall.
